In Dreamlords - The Reawakening players assume the roles of the mystical Dreamlords, magical entities that spawn from the nightmares of the mythic Dreamer himself.
Dreamlords may empower forceful methods but their presence is always welcome as they also have the power to provide goals and guidance for a fragmented piece of the old world. A world consisting of shattered pieces of land, called Patrias, home to hardened populations of survivors controlled by a sovereign Dreamlord.
The success of each Patria is solely depending on the capability of its ruling Dreamlord. As well as fighting, co-operation is important in Dreamlords. All players belong to a guild, called Convergence, and cooperating within your own Convergence is necessary to be successful.
Dreamlords - The Reawakening offers unparalleled strategic depth by providing both long term empire building with 3D RTS action in a massively multiplayer world. Dreamlords the game is made up by one game client and a web interface. The empire building is done in the web interface and fighting is done in the game client. A dreamlord is a mystical entity that has risen to answer the desperate calling of the people. Now you have to lead them to a great future, one step at a time.
Start from nothing and build a prosperous empire by building cities and managing production and population. Create a respectable army that can both protect the people and conquer enemies. Dreamlords is a MMO-cross genre game that combines role playing aspects such as character development, trade skills, and special abilities with a RTS combat mode. Dreamlords has an asynchronous online model where an infinite amount of players exist in the same universe where fierce battles are fought between players over the precious lands. Dreamlords is much like playing a traditional RTS game online with the added enhancement of a persistent world filled with exploration, questing and wars for conquest.

When we first set out to make this game, it was our first big project and we realised that we had a great task at hand. The first thing we addressed as being paramount was the contact with the gamers. All out during the development of Dreamlords, the feedback from the large Dreamlords community has been extremely important to us. Dreamlords plays a strong RPG card or impression whilst allowing much land/resource management via the management interface. The rts client seems to allow PvE and PvP rts modes though im hazy on how n whys and it seems offline atm. Played in Era's of typically 2-3 months the server is cleared but players carry over skills and achievments. So semi persistant rts wise but fully RPG style. The game underwent a open BETA then emerged with a new format, Dreamlords - The Reawakening, into another ALPHA stage. Technically a new game - Dreamlords - The Reawakening is now in full release in Europe and the US.
Since then it has gone Free2Play as LockPick Entertainment went bankrupt. It is a requirement of funding at all that it remains Free2Play.
Dreamlords - The Reawakening will be Free to Play, no cost up front, no need for monthly fees or anything else.
