Game Details

The three factions players can join are as follow:

Galactic Confederacy
Imperial Color: Red and Black
Homeworld: Apophica

The first government of the new galaxy, the Galactic Confederacy was supposed to be the dawn of a new age for all of mankind. Being split from our Milky Way galaxy brethren, the Galactic Confederacy was a sign of new hope for everyone in this new galaxy.

Originally, the government was ruled by a single emperor. The original emperorship of the Galactic Confederacy decided that one person was not enough to direct an entire empire. And thus, the Galactic Confederacy was born. Ruled over with an iron fist by a selected delegation of questionably corrupt leadership, the Galactic Confederacy believes that the good of society overall takes precedence over the individual and feels that humanity will prosper once everyone accepts this mentality. Their slogan "Strength in Unity and Stable Resolve for the Prosperity of Humanity" is shown on their governmental seal.

Unification Alliance
Imperial Color: Green and Yellow
Homeworld: Sanctum

The Unification Alliance was formed by dissidents of all governments frustrated with the state of constant conflict in the galaxy. The Unification Alliance only cares about ending the war.

Because neither the Legion of Systems nor the Galactic Confederacy can come to terms, both are considered wrong and must be eliminated. Only through unity can humanity prosper and the Unification Alliance has tasked themselves with the cleansing of the galaxy.

Legion of Systems
Imperial Color: Blue and Silver
Homeworld: Grea

Founded by three clans or houses of the Galactic Confederacy who felt the cruel ways of the Galactic Confederacy and the overbearing government were left unchecked, the Legion of Systems is not without shortcomings. Shortly after being established, a bitter feud between two of the clans almost split the alliance up. However, this dispute was resolved just before the point of bloodshed and has never been mentioned again.

A democracy by design, all citizens are treated equal. This way of government directly conflicts with the Galactic Confederacy and as such a bitter war has been waged.

Summary

Unit creation has been simplified to a more traditional RTS level and deployment made quicker to facilitate more warfare. More detail coming shortly.
