Colony Wide Production Queue
Finally, one of the latest additions (as of the writing of this article), is the addition of a colony wide Production Queue. Some time in the beta, a colony wide Research Queue was added. This allowed players to queue up multiple researches to be distributed to any open research facility on the planet. It was useful, and it reduced the number of clicks that needed to be made and allowed research to start as soon as possible, but overall it was not a vast improvement. However, the Senate recently passed that a Production Queue be created, and so it was. It uses the same interface as the Research Queue, but allows batch assigning. For instance, 10 factories can be assigned to create 20 engines each making a total of 200. In addition, this queue allows the parts of a prototype to be build without actually producing that unit or building. This seriously aids the construction of custom/armed facilities.

Conclusions
I am very sure that the improvements will continue to flow as the developers are still very active and involved in the chatter surrounding the game. Enochdagor, the game’s lead programmer, has finally started a developer’s corner which gives the player base a better understanding of where the game is going and what they’re working on separate from the Senate’s legislation. To summarize my feelings on the game, because a full review would be many times the length of this article, it’s not perfect, but, this is the best MMO I have ever played. While several look better, several are more complex, and several are less expensive to play, none match the quality of thought, depth of passion, and level of excitement that this game evokes. If you haven’t yet, at least give the free trial a shot.
Until next time…
