| At this time, although the focus was on BH as a target, tensions grew within QSC and a proposed game change scared many of the lesser devoted players. So, a new guild named Singularity splintered away, leaving Vimes and I with control of QSC. Essentially, we abolished the planet and mineral rights, not wanting to hold our newer members back, and began gearing up for war with BH. Wormhole routes were discovered bringing each of the Tier 2 systems into the first Tier 3, Docchu. |
| It had been rumored that the BH leadership knew the location of each of the wormholes leading to the Tier 2’s but had not distributed that information, they had, however set up in Docchu fairly heavily. In any case, it did not seem to matter as BH crumbled, loosing leaders, players and military assets at an alarming rate. I claimed Docchu V as a guild haven and base of operations within the pivotal system. QSC’s role in this war was to pacify Docchu which held quick access to nearly all of known space. While the fighting was intense, BH was too disoriented to sustain it. Finally, they called for a cease fire, which I and Vimes reluctantly agreed to, convincing Dominion to do the same. The terms were vague, but based on the idea that BH no longer had control over its members. We gave them time to consolidate and reform. |
 |
| They adopted a pure democracy which voted on everything. During this time, emperors sprang up, which before had been something unseen due to war declaration penalties and factions. However, with the Senate ready to form, the position became more appealing. I decided to take Cogdmu and become a part of the Emperor’s Chambers. Cogdmu is the Tier 2 system that connects to Leviso and Augwra. It had belonged to BH, but was destroyed in the war. However, BH still believed they had a claim there. So we began negotiations. Their process of voting took quite some time, and came back with unsatisfactory terms. Vimes and I felt QSC was being jerked around and finally, after several small skirmishes, negotiations broke down. I had my emperor title and BH wanted too much, so it devolved into total war. Zolbad, one of the major proponents of war until this time, suddenly became quite (we now know, due to technical issues), leaving QSC out one major face of command. However, a newcomer to this galaxy, but an old rival to Vimes and I, named Morax, joined. This left three major Generals on each side: for BH - Alvenor, Ferigad and Leadcask, and for QSC - Havoc, Morax and Vimes. |
