Another newcomer has arrived recently with Gratuitous Space Battles from UK developer Positech Games. Pimped as a strategy/management/sim game that cuts striaght to the chase of uber spave fleet battles, dispensing with colony building and genre defining delays to combat. Most details regarding size and cost have yet to be confirmed but the games BETA is in progress and can be joined still.
