The new Closed Beta build is now up and running. There are 7 new maps that should prove quite challenging to humans and bugs alike. And there is one more challenge for you if you're running Vista or Windows 7. When you run the game to upgrade, you need to run it as an administrator. It's a complex two step process:

1. Find your Battleswarm game icon.
2. Right Click on the icon and choose Run as Administrator from the menu.

Here is the list of new maps:

Arena: Mixed Teams Offense/Defense - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 15 minutes
Iceland: Capture the Flag - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 15 minutes
Ruins: Both sides Offense/Defense - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 10 minutes
Stand Off: Human Offense/Bug Defense - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 10 minutes
Lost City: Transport Zone - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 10 minutes
Final Battlefield: Life or Death (Human Offense) - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 10 minutes
Hostage Battle: Human Escort Mission - Recommended players: 8 - Game time: 10 minutes
