07/27/09 Respawn System Locking
- Respawn systems are now locked when they are initially spawned
- Units can traverse wormholes and battlegroup movement out of a Locked Respawn system
- Units cannot traverse wormholes and battlegroup movement into a Locked Respawn system
- Respawn systems lose their locked status once a player from within the system builds a colony outside of the system
Senate Prop - Unit Formation Preservation
- Units now remember their position in a formation better
Senate Prop - Formation Build Improvements
- Units no longer suffer from a centering issue of the formation command
- Added an Arrow Indicator on the Multiple Selection window to indicate whether to move the formation and then form into the formation or move into formation and then move
- Added a Default selection for formations to use as the formation of the Default placement including Star (current and default), Vertical, Horizontal and Mass
Senate Prop - Explosions
- Area Effect weapons now show an explosion effect when they detonate
- Orbital Bombardment weapons now show an explosion effect upon impact
Senate Prop - Mineral Alert Change
- Changed the wording on the Mining Bid Alert message to include who is in first place and where the mine is located
Senate Prop - Trade Sanctions
- GTC no longer permits open market trades between players who are at war
Senate Prop - Tabbing through /r Names Improvement
- Tabbing through PM's senders recently received via /r no longer highlights the text being sent and places the cursor in the appropriate position
Agents
- Double clicking a mission, agent, or player intel item in their lists is the same as the three view buttons
- The list of missions now contains more information on the selected target 'Who, What, Where'
- Better Refreshing of the Intel Unknowns
- Captured Agents now indicate who captured the agent in the Target so that missions can be ran to recover them
Missions in progress / View Details
- Big UI / frame rate performance bug corrected
- The additional information 'Who, What, Where', is also visible here
- Required infiltration is now displayed
Gameplay
- Fixed a bug where some players would get stuck in invalid locations in the galaxy and would try to load the invalid location and be unable to log in
- Fixed an issue where space stations would continue producing units and launching them even if autolaunch was off and the hangar was full
- Resolved an issue with formations that would cause formations that were given a move order and then a No Formation move order to return to the previous formation move order after stopping
Graphics
- Added graphics to Bomb weapons
- Fixed a graphical issue with projectile and pulse weapons fire that would make the weapons have 'tails'
- Fixed a crash error in some full screen window configurations
- Fixed an issue with some Full Screen resolution settings causing issues with the game's stability
- Fixed the lighting on the Space engineer, Assaultor, Wolverine, Great White and Interceptor so that it is no longer reversed
- Fixed a major performance issue in the Weapon Builder that could have caused some crashing
- Fixed some graphical artifacts withs tanks and their turrets
Research
- Double clicking a research item will display the View Results window
- Weapon effects should once again appear in the Weapon Appearance window of the Weapon Builder
Hull Designer
- Changed the All-Arc warning messages to better assist newer users
Repair
- Additional UI improvement to repairing ships when the underlying tech, or armor plates, are archived
Routes and Route Templates
- When the Mineral Selection popup is visible the RunOnce button is disabled to prevent click-throughs
- Also disabled the template dropdown, template edit, and clear buttons to be safe
