A historical showdown that occurred around two years ago between a number of top players - including Pattern (as Loki) Culloden (as Lucky Red), Dragon, Kevinius Scotticus and Mingers. The map was divided by well placed Tactical outposts which destroyed each other to signal the start. Boy did the server grind as many had brought both motherships, emitting 8 fighters each. and medium warships which have the fastest rate of fire. The resulting object load made controlling such fleets an arduous task involving many veteran tricks to re-sight to far units and such. All in all a great experience for all watching and involved.
Hopefully I will be able to sit with Pattern or the others and flesh out the details more.
