The Ballerium website has been taken down for an upgrade to allow subscriptions and new membership features. This move to enhance the community interface means servers will be down at some point to finalise - leading to a new round.
The Ballerium site states that the game will remain Free to play but a 'commercial service plan' will allow players to gain extra benefits in game for a subscription fee. Previous donators will receive a discount via an email soon.
Paying customers will receive benefits including
* Extra Karma (allowing you to control more units and use your special powers more often)
* Ability to create a clan
* Access to special character the Kablaz
* Ability to control more cities
* Increase community points much faster
* Change your hero name
The changes are only meant to take a few days and the team there ask for players to return to check regulary.
