Well it been a fun morning so far - release of the new article was fraught with issues and mambot troubles after I upgraded to joomla 1.015. Between permission  issues and the wysiwyg going bang...been fun. Then I awake today to see dreamlords have handed IGN a few essays worth of material for this heavily commercial site. These guys get paid to make articles yet get stuff handed to them by shiny faced developers seeking some of the light and traffic. It takes ages to compose/edit/ present articles by yourself and when I asked the developers of the games i love and serve with this site, what did I get? A few lines, a list of 4-5 dates with a word or two after :( Really makes me want to not bother sometimes). Its not that I wantr the devs attention - I just want content!! This site has been up for 6 months now and traffic imo may have peaked for such a niche. I just cant stand the way everyone says big up for the little guy - sock it to the man etc yet all go to the corporations in this industry. Where is the front page coverage for our games on these big whore sites? Maybe for 2min during the first moment of release. The reviews and game details are stale and usually copied from press releasxes. ALL those news stories you see elsewhere are just pasted press releases by the devs. We wont do that - each story deserves a personal view of it AND we show the press release on second page to allow you to interpret it yourself if in any doubt.

Blah - may comment more later  - but devs - as Bill Hicks said again n again - stop sucking....
