Over the past few days, SAGA has released several items of interest. One is a fairly large patch, including everything from server fixes and combat smoothing, to unit and spell rebalances. The changes should make the game more enjoyable for all.
The second item, is "SAGA Credits". No not, Harry did the audio and Jan did the dialogue, Credits as in deneros. Their purpose is to be "the new currency used to buy not only SAGA Boosters and Heroes but also many new items including cosmetic items."

Beyond Protocol launched more than three months ago, while my last
public review was almost a year ago. It’s time to let you, my adoring
fans, know what Havoc thinks of the game!
Beyond Protocol began its beta as a game which promised things
like custom designs, unique technology trees, plenty of space to
colonize and fight over, and the ability to play an RTS with your
friends like never before. It had a bit of a rough start, being
somewhat overly complex for the majority of casual gamers, having
connectivity and compatibility issues, but in the end, DSE managed to fix many of the issues and delivered an
excellent game. The thing is that they continue to refine the game by
leaps and bounds even after it has been released.

Apologies One and All and Best wishes for the New Year! I have recently taken some time off from the sprawl of sites I play with or run to focus on some real life events. I could have included my sites in this but it was pleasant just browsing like a consumer for a change. December saw the birth of my daughter Francesca, joining her four brothers for a special Xmas. My wife Annabelle is doing fine and we have enjoyed the break. It has been nice to adjust to a new female presence in this predominatly male household and she shows much character already.
Read on for a recap of the month I missed - a lot needs doing so forgive the lack of links but I mention sources where I can.
